I am a French artist based in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from the Ecole de Recherche Graphique (ERG) in Bruxelles, Belgium. In 1990, and I began a career as a children’s book illustrator in Paris. I moved to Los Angeles in 2001, and it was there that my focus returned seriously to ceramics. In 2014 I showed my ceramic work for the first time in a group exhibition at the gallery Giant Robot 2 in Los Angeles. Solo shows and collaborations with other galleries ( Rose gallery in Santa Monica, Carole Decombe in Pacific Palisades, Chefas Projects in Portland …) followed.

For the past twelve years I have worked almost exclusively in ceramics. Working with clay allows a unique combination of accessibility and sophistication that I find very liberating, meaningful and fun.
