NATHALIE FERRIER

Ferrier earned an MFA from MassArt and studied fashion and design at the Ecole de Haute-Couture in Paris. She worked for ten years as a fashion designer and started a toy company when she moved to New York with her family: the company was named born to be wild. Ferrier designed stuffed animals, wooden toys and a book that were sold at museum stores throughout the United States.

Ferrier’s artwork has been shown in curated exhibitions in New York and at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, in solo shows at private galleries on Cape Cod, and at art fairs in the United States and abroad. Currently, she is the Higgins Art Gallery Director and Curator at the Cape Cod Community College, where she also teaches fashion fiber art and art gallery and exhibition management.
